Class Requirements
All students are required to attend dance class in appropriate attire for their class. This attire should include:
1. Full leg, full foot tan or skin tone dance tights
2. Shoes appropriate for their class (see below)
3. Neutral coloured yoga-style stretch capris or dance skirt/sarong of knee length (no boy shorts or mini skirts, please)
4. Black or pink body suit (Other neutral coloured body suits accepted, no neon or prints, please)
Students are also required to arrive to class prepared to dance, which includes:
1. No jewelry of any kind
2. All hair pulled back (e.g. in a ponytail, bun or single braid). No loose hair that can get in a dancer’s eyes is permitted.
3. No chewing gum, hard candies etc…
These rules are for the dancer’s safety during class, and help to prevent injuries and accidents.

Ballet
Pink ballet slippers with elastic band at the ankle
Full sole slippers for children under the age of 8
Split sole slippers for children over the age of 8
Tap
Lace up tap shoes
Tan matte leather for children under the age of 8
Black matte leather for children over the age of 8
Lyrical
Tan, split sole slip on jazz boots
Boys’ Dance
Tap: Black, lace up, split sole tap shoes
Musical Theater: Black, split sole slip on jazz boots
Jazz
Tan, split sole slip on jazz boots
Musical Theatre
Tan, split sole slip on jazz boots
Dancing Tots
Boys: Black slip on jazz boots (full or split sole)
Girls: Tan, slip on jazz boots
